Why are images so important in blogs?
Can’t we express our ideas only with words?
Yes, we can, but it’s a bit boring.
I didn’t include any images in my previous blogs.
Maybe that’s one of the reason I didn’t get too much attention or maybe was because they aren’t interesting.
The fact is that images are as important as what we are expressing.
Images:
- Get more shares
- Improve readability
- Make your post more visually appealing
- Add your post to image search
- Etc.
Sometimes I make the decision to read a blog based on the image they have, maybe it’s silly but most of the time it’s what they are trying to express.
So why wasn’t I taking advantage of the use of images in my recent posts?
Because wasn’t the priority.
Also, I was thinking of creating some kind of theme for the preview images in order to keep a consistency (like the same background, fonts or type of images).
In my previous blogs I used images generated by AI or from public sites like unsplash, but I think they were not visually appealing.
Now I have an idea of what the type of “theme” I want to follow on my blogs.
I hope that if you are thinking along the same lines you will find your own style.
